  • UPGKLB Another academic year has come for the UP Gawad Kalinga - Los Baños to held an orientation about the organization. With an almost 40 orientees, numerous number of members and guests attended the event in the S.U. Bldg., the orientation was a successful one for having a number of prospective members that chose to take the different way of serving less people by being a volunteer. [UPGKLB Internals Committee]

    • GK Los Baños Ville Bayani Challenge

    The 1st GK LB Ville Bayani Challenge was held at Brgy. Putho, Los Baños, Laguna. It was an activity launched by the UP Gawad Kalinga - Los Baños in cooperation with GK LB Ville caretaker team where teams consisting of 10 members were assigned to build one house for two weekends. (more)

    UPGK-LB at GK1World Expo `07

    [October 2007]

    Last October 2007, Gawad Kalinga celebrated its 4th year anniversary particularly the birthing of its vision to build 700,000 homes in 7,000 communities in 7 years, GK 777officially launched on October 4, 2003. GK 777 anniversary on October 26 to 28 at the SM Mall of Asia. (more)

    UPGK-LB goes to GK Baseco

    Field trip of the organization to GK Baseco site in Tondo, Manila. GK Baseco is one of the first and largest GK sites in the Philippines. UPGK-LB in coordination with GK La Salle joined the Christmas party of the GK site, especially that of Marie Rose Abad (MRA) Village. Jerico's Bakery and The Original Buko Pie donated loaves of bread and boxes of buko pie respectively for the event. MRA village Kapitbahayans, Proctor & Gamble village Couples for Christ, and UPGK-LB celebrated the spirit of Christmas by sharing food with one another.
